Band News: More American acts confirmed |
3rd May 2006 |
We are proud to announce that Peter Rowan and Growling Old Men have been added to the list of US artists performing at this year's festival. With Nashville Bluegrass Band headlining, it's going to be a great line up - probably one of the best we've seen since the old days of Ironbridge and Edale.
Peter Rowan is a former Bluegrass Boy and has performed with many of the world's finest musicians over the years including Jerry Garcia, David Grisman and Clarence White.
Growling Old Men are guitarist John Lowell and mandolinist Ben Winship. They will be performing with Leon Hunt and Dominic Harrison.
Neither Peter Rowan or Nashville Bluegrass Band are playing anywhere else in the UK and all these acts will be performing on two days of the three day festival.
We have a long list of British bands to support these American superstars including New Essex Bluegrass Band, The Down County Boys, A Band Like Alice, Buffalo Smoke and Monroe's Revenge.
We will be publishing more names very soon. Join our mailing list and you will be the first to know!
