Workshops: exciting new format

Traditionally, the workshops at Didmarton have been run by one of the artists present at the festival. At the 2006 festival, there will be many talented people on site, so we decided to take advantage of the fact and assemble the best instrumentalists in a group and run seminars.

All the seminars will be hosted by an expert personality who will make sure there is an opportunity for the audience to ask questions.

This is not a new idea and the Cambridge Folk Festival used to run these types of seminar very successfully. They are not only a chance for the audience to learn, but also great opportunities for the players to get together in unique jams.
