Improvements for 2007

The organising committee carried out a review of the 2006 festival at a post mortem meeting a few days ago. As a result, we have agreed a number of improvements to the site for next year.

These include:

- The overflow area will be fenced in and part of the main site
- Additional portaloos will be hired
- The small marquee will be extended
- Advance tickets will be on sale earlier
- We are considering moving the bar area away from the main marquee
- Improved catering
- More seating in the marquees

We aim to put on a good show but we also want people to be comfortable and feel at home. Those who remember the pre-Kemble days will realise that Didmarton is now a major undertaking and it's difficult to get everything right all of the time. For instance, we never expected to completely fill the overflow area this year!

Judging by the emails we got after the festival, the experience was positive for most despite the hurricane on Saturday! Keep the comments coming - good and bad - we value your input.
