Headline bands for Didmarton 2016 announced

We have two headline acts confirmed for Didmarton this year and both hail from the U.S.A.
Front Country from San Francisco
Cahalen Morrison & Eli West from Seattle
We’ll be posting more information on both of these as the weeks go on, plus the rest of the line-up as it’s finalised, but in the meantime, check out their websites, Facebook pages and Youtube, to hear the fabulous music they are going to be playing for us.

See you all there

It’s looking dry for Didmarton 2015 🙂

Workshops, fun and a stage to perform . . .

  • FELTING FUN WORKSHOP,  Friday  2 – 4pm

Ever wondered how to make felt? Here is your chance to find out how and create a wondrous woolly masterpiece – choose to make a flower or vase.

Rummage through our junk modelling materials and put together your very own Bluegrass instrument. Fancy making a fiddle, blinging banjo or bostin’ bass? Come and join us for the ‘make & take’ fun.

*Parents, feel free to bring anything that can go in our rummage box for instrument making*

Programme on its way

Thank you for your patience. It’s been a fair amount of work tracking musicians down and getting them to fill in paperwork, send in photos etc, especially when it has to go through agents and third parties. We are getting there and should have our programme/running order fairly well nailed down shortly – All artists performing are on the slider on the home page.

The NEW children’s area is going to be a hive of activity with various activities including face painting and instrument making (if you have any useful materials for instrument making, please bring them along.) We are even going to have a children’s stage for our blooming young performers.

Not long now . . .
