Thank you for your patience. It’s been a fair amount of work tracking musicians down and getting them to fill in paperwork, send in photos etc, especially when it has to go through agents and third parties. We are getting there and should have our programme/running order fairly well nailed down shortly – All artists performing are on the slider on the home page.

The NEW children’s area is going to be a hive of activity with various activities including face painting and instrument making (if you have any useful materials for instrument making, please bring them along.) We are even going to have a children’s stage for our blooming young performers.

It’s that time of year and Didmarton Bluegrass Festival is properly underway for 2015. Bands have yet to be confirmed but the line-up will be as spectacular as usual.

Didmarton Bluegrass Festival has been running for over 25 years,  and after a successful 2014, the committee have been having a rest before embarking  on getting ready for the 2015 Festival which is now in full swing.

We are delighted to announce that Didmarton Bluegrass Festival is back. Following the departure of former organisers, we’ve formed a committee of dedicated individuals from around the bluegrass scene and beyond.

We plan to run an event of a similar scale to the 2013 event, with everything that makes Didmarton special: the fantastic concert line-up, friendly camping, plenty of pickin’ and the famous late-night bonfire and jam sessions. The Festival is taking place in the usual and unique location of Kemble Airfield, Gloucestershire with spitfires flying overhead, the Ogri bike club and a jolly good bar. Didmarton has been running for over 25 years, and we simply want to keep it going.

But, we need your help. You can help to make Didmarton 2014 a success by booking your tickets as early as possible. Enjoy our ‘early-bird’ weekend ticket prices between 1^st April – 31^st May.
